Scaffolding the Self: Neurodivergence and the Moral Life of Academic Work

← Book projects · Research

About the project

This book examines neurodivergence and the moral expectations surrounding academic work. It asks how scholarly capability is sustained through tools, routines, relationships, and institutional support, and how universities judge ways of thinking and working that depart from the image of the autonomous scholar.

The project connects my research on cognitive scaffolding with a wider concern for the conditions that make intellectual participation possible.
